We are working with Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) to develop a sustainable ecosystem for the marginalized, indigenous communities of rural Madhya Pradesh by providing sustainable travel solutions through controlled and responsible tourism. We are identifying culturally rich villages and working with them to preserve and curate traveller experiences from their cultural assets in order to build and improve rural livelihood opportunities.
We're closely working with the Barela and Patel community of Surai and Anwali Ghat in Bhopal. Our aim is to identify local champions to facilitate and create model rural ecotourism villages. We're involved in identification and setting up of homestay accommodations and training of the community members on hospitality management and travel sustainability. Through this, the promotion of community based responsible tourism will be achieved and thereby, help in the generation of alternate livelihood and employment opportunities for the community stakeholders, leading to their socio-economic empowerment.
