Apple’s den is a hundred years old hamlet refurbished for you to indulge in a timeless culture of Himachal Pradesh. Apple’s Den is ideally located in the quiet village of Dojha on cliff top trail that stretches for miles along the dense forest. The property has one deluxe room which can accommodate 4-5 people and one standard room which can accommodate 2-3 people. The homestay is made entirely of clay and wood keeping all the weather conditions favorable.
With just few rooms, exceptional views, a genuine and warm staff, and local food apple’s den is an intimate encounter with the best of Narkanda. The place distinguishes itself from neighboring hotels by its strong emphasis on traditional Greek hospitality and a very high level of personal service and attention.

The food is the next best thing that you will love at Apple’s den. Each cuisine that they serve speaks rich about the culture of the region. The villagers are engaged in organic farming of peas, local potatoes, cherry and apples. They mostly serve “siddu”, a Himachali cuisine and vegetables directly out of their farms. And what’s the most exciting thing about the stay at apple’s Den are the Apple orchards. While living here, you can actually experience the joy of apple swing to apple plucking and immerse in the fragrance of apples around.

Apple’s den is a beautiful escape from your urban hustle, a hamlet surrounded with lush greenery and apple orchards. Select any corner of the property and open your favorite book that you longed to read. Standing tall at 12000 ft above sea level, Hatu peak is also a tourist destination. It is the highest peak in the Shimla/Narkanda region that sees pleasant weather throughout the year. With wonderful orchard and spectacular nature views around, the 7 km stretch to Hatu Peak is an easy trekking trail.And if you manage to visit Narkanda during winters, then winter skiing is another adventurous activity that you can enjoy. Narkanda receives heavy rainfall from January to March which is a beautiful sight to see though life becomes a little tough during this time period.

Dhoja Village is 6 km’s from Narkanda. To reach Dhoj, take a taxi from Narkanda as there are no public vehicles travelling to this village.
